Back-of-House & Point-of-Sale Networks
Guest traffic should never touch your point of sale.
The same property network that serves guests also carries the property management system, card payments, key encoding, cameras, door locks, and staff radios and phones. WiredStay designs those systems onto separate, secured networks with the segmentation that card-industry rules expect and the reliability operations demand.
One infrastructure, many networks
Running separate cabling for every system is expensive and rarely done well. WiredStay builds one physical network and divides it into secured virtual networks: guests, conferences, point of sale, property management, key encoding, cameras, access control, building automation, and staff devices, each with its own policy and none able to reach the others.
Payment security
Card-industry rules require that systems handling card data be isolated from everything else. We design the point-of-sale network with that segmentation, document it for your qualified security assessor, and keep guest traffic entirely separate.
Staff mobility
Housekeeping tablets, engineering radios over Wi-Fi, mobile check-in devices, and restaurant handhelds need coverage in service corridors, loading docks, and basements where guest coverage was never planned. We design staff coverage for the whole building, not just the public spaces.
Cameras, locks, and building systems
Security cameras, electronic locks, energy management, and signage each get a dedicated network with the power-over-Ethernet ports and priority they need, monitored by our operations center so a failing camera or door controller is flagged before anyone notices.

Questions
Common questions
Does WiredStay make the property PCI compliant?
We design and document the network segmentation that card-industry rules require, which is one part of compliance. Your payment processor and assessor address the rest, and we provide the documentation they ask for.
Can staff devices use the guest network?
They can, but they should not. We provide a separate staff network with coverage in the areas staff actually work.
